Drop a Window control on the page and see if that makes the error go away. I
have not manually added those controls toa page, I usually drag them from
the Database Manager and it automatically creates all the components, the
grid and links them all up for me. And when I run it just works. But if
there is some sort of problem recognizing manually added data controls, then
it might need to be reported. When I get a chance I'll try to re-create your
scenario. But in the mean time drop a Window control on the form and see if
the error goes away.

I've added the controls for the data: database, table and datasource
and linked them together.
Then I've added a dbgrid and linked it to the datasource.
The grid is a wrapper around the qx table.
I've added no code - all drag and drop.
Running locally using the Apache server on port 3569.
