Which is exactly what Sebastian's change does (replacing  
"<pre><code>" with "<pre>") ;-)

I don't know where the "<pre><code>" that's being replaced comes  
from, but if it actually occurs in the real world, replacing it with  
"<pre>" seems like a good idea.
