Hello,
I used the version in the build directory (of course ;-) ).
It works with the suggestion of dperez
> with (qx.log.Logger) {
> ROOT_LOGGER.setMinLevel(LEVEL_WARN);

Then the logger is not shown after opening the application. That's enough
for, at this point. I am testing with 0.6.6.

Did you used the version inside the build directory after make build, or
the inside the source directory?
Then I made a "make build" and run the version inside the build
directory there is no log window. (testetd with 0.6.5 & 0.6.6 here).
