Hey guys
I created a new application, which is online and open to every one.
You will require a login and I have to warn you that not too much is
working the way I envision it but hey what can you expect from a few
days worth of work. Also note that your info might get deleted in
future releases as this is waaaay alpha.
I know there are a ton of things not yet working as expected (I.e. the
FishEyeBar is jittery on my Linux box and could use some tuning, most
items are not properly disposed and customization is in the works on my
Laptop at home and internationalization is a faint dream in a galaxy far
away)
I hope to stir some interest and get some feedback or better patches
from any one who might want to help out. It would be great to get the
RSS reader in and properlyconfigured and maybe a IRC client.
I have yet to become fluent in JavaScript as my previous project is/was
QDVDAuthor ( Qt and C++ under Linux ). So any help is firmly
appreciated.

Where do I want to go ? Here are some thoughts
AstraNOS focus is communications. So to get eMail, IM, and IRC up and
running are top priorities and I will link to third party tools ( like
SquirrelMail ) if necessary ( at least in the beginning ).
I hope to get to the point where you can share the desktop with multiple
users ( at least to some degree ). I want this to be able to help my
mother remotely.
It shall be pretty, useable and cool :-)
Support multiple Desktops.
You should be able to configure everything to your liking. I hope to get
something SuperKaramba like working.
It would be sweet to have a GUI builder for qx available for AstraNOS.
