null just means unset. Which is normally identical to hidden, depending 
on the elements default style. All DIV elements like used by qooxdoo 
don't automatically show scrollbars. They show the content outside the 
element, but do not grow more than specified by their dimension 
configuration.

visible = scroll. This was not changed. This means that scrollbars are 
shown always. If you want to display content outside the boundaries of a 
widget you can explicitely set overflow to null.
