That doesn't sound the best solution, doesn't it?

Out of interest, is it possible for an application to open another
qooxdoo window (for the preview) under the control of the existing
session? I know that you can use window.open('', ...) to open the
window, but is it then possible to place a widget in it. [The more I
think about it, the more certain that it's possible. Especially after
reading http://www.quirksmode.org/js/popup.html#writing].
