Hi, I'm new to Qooxdoo. Could someone please share a code snippet for a Qooxdoo client requesting a URL. The URL will return only XML text and I'll proceed to try to work with the XML and update the GUI (any insights there would also be greatly appreciated).
I've browsed the API docs and have looked at qx.io.* and qx.io2.* but I can't really determine what to do. I've searched past discussions and can only find fragmented examples, and those with which people are having problems (blind leading the blind). I've checked the Qooxdoo web-based docs. I'm baffled. Do people only get skilled at Qooxdoo by trial-and-error and through helping one another on the discussions? Any web sites out there with useful Qooxdoo code snippets (examples)?
