you can check qx.core.Setting.get("qx.version") to get the version.
Unforunately, we can not help you with questions about Delphi 4 PHP.
You could try to achieve the same with plain qooxdoo (using the same
version as D4PHP) to find out if the qooxdoo in D4PHP has an issue or
if something with your code is not correct.
