I came across something strange while porting from 0.8.2 to 0.8.3. The qx.ui.form.AbstractField.getValue() function returned a String everytime no matter if the field had text or not but now in 0.8.3 the function returns NULL when there is no text. Is this correct or is this a bug? (The Documentation tells me nothing about a NULL returning).
