I'm using FF 3.6.6 on Windows 7 32bit. I tested the code Martin provided in the playground and everything looks fine (see attached screenshot). I had also a closer look at the code you emailed before. Why both classes extend qx.application.Standalone maybe that is the reason for the wrong display. Why do you not just extend the XTP from qx.core.Object? It is not common to have two application classes in one application. Maybe thats the source of some undesired behavior.
