Hi nick. I guess your console is just telling you about the result of your Ajax request. If you abort the result is empty or even undefined. But that's not an error, just a notification. In firebug I got a red Ajax request notification but no error counts. Your RPC handler will present you an error with code 2 or something so you can easily handle it.
