Older qooxdoo versions used XUL labels as a workaround for the missing
text-overflow: ellipsis support in Firefox, but since Mozilla removed
that feature, we only use it after determining that the browser supports
it (see http://bugzilla.qooxdoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4058).
Could you please check the return value of
qx.core.Environment.get("html.xul")
in Firebug? If it's true, the detection might be broken. If not, the
error must have some other cause.
