Thanks! That fixed it!  I don't see a way to change it to "Break on uncaught 
errors". I think that's the default if you turn off "Break on All errors".

Hi Scott,

what you probably enabled in Firebug is to "break on all errors" (i.e. even 
caught errors). Change "to break on uncaught errors".
