Dear qooxdoo community I am developping qooxdoo applications using remote requests to read and write data by php from or to a mysql database.
I would like to lock database records on a row basis prior to update. The idea is to prevent from data loss when two persons update the same record at the same time. Has somebody implemented such a scenario? How could one release the lock automatically when the browsers session expires? Any hints are much appreciated.
