Mh, cannot confirm. I pasted your comment block verbatim in a skeleton's
Application.js, and added some this.tr() calls. They were picked up by
generate.py translation alright.
What messages do you get in the terminal when running the translation
job? Run the job with the -v switch.
Can you provide an minimal class file that reproduces your behavior?!

file get added to the .po-files. If I leave it in, the .tr-tags are
