Hi, because long holds only integer values in Java "Integer" would be most suitable, I think. Integer is also a strict subset of Number. Though Integer isn't a real data type JavaScript "knows" (there is only Number) - so qooxdoo can only simulate that - "Integer" would be more concise in terms of API docs.
