This blog post [1] has it all. The manual about using contribs [2] still 
applies, apart from the downloading feature which is no longer present 
at Sourceforge's repositories. Do a selective SVN checkout of 
qooxdoo-contrib/qxe or let the Generator download it using the 
"contrib://" pseudo URL scheme in your config.json.
