I knew, that i can make the column wider, but that's not what I want to do. In my real world application I have a grid with parameters and values in a bigger grid. In rare cases, the value is a long string, which now reaches out of the inner grid. I just want to have this text cut off with ellipsis, like in the second row in my example.
