Hello,
1 - The context
-----------------------
I am porting my application from qooxdoo 2.1 to 3.0 and I have some
problems, in particular concerning decorators.
My application uses dynamic decorators, in the sense that users may change
borders of objects using an interface. When this happens:
1 - I dispose the old decorator (one decorator per object)
2 - I create and affect the new decorator to the object
It seems that (in 3.0) disposing a decorator in use makes problems, so I
reversed the order:
1 - create an affect the new decorator
2 - dispose the old decorator
I still not have a very clean behavior, in the sense that somethimes, the
object border does not use the new decorator, but the previous one : the
one deleted previoulsy.
If I do not dispose Decorators, it works fine.
2 - My questions
-------------------------
- are decorators in 3.0 been thought of being dynamic, ie modified during
run-time, not by a theme.
- if so, how is the proper way of using such decorators
Thanks for your help
Cyrille
