I found that I accidentally typed in the page constructor the following:
this.base(arguments, *false*);
Dunno, what was this "false" about, maybe a copy-paste issue. But it broke
the layout.
When I changed the call to this.base(arguments) the list became normal with
small margins on left and right side (like on 'overview' page in
mobileshowcase app).
So writing my own list renderer is deferred this time :)
