Hi Baidong,

To have a better guess at why the regexp in `create_tempfolder` is not finding 
`dirname`, could you please run the following two lines of code in your matlab 
session and send the output:

atmlab('WORK_AREA' )
tempname(atmlab('WORK_AREA' ))

Running qpack and arts on Windows is not well tested and you might run into 
further problems besides the one you encountered here. If you have the option 
to instead run it on a Linux machine, I would recommend doing that.
