ok, I dont know, im a bit suprised sensor_init is not run, you can try and dig out where this is written in the qarts.m script and find out why it is not activated. Other than that Im unfortunately at the end of my rope.

I have attached this file (cfiles.arts_1) and also the one for the retrieval that works in arts 2.0 (cfiles.arts_2). I dont know if you can find out what is the problem from these files.
