We have already accumulated several new features, so that is seems sensible to prepare for the release of version 0.3.7. Hence I plan this for the 23rd instead of the 30th of December. Hence trunk will probably be in freeze mode beginning with the 9th of December. It would therefore be very much appreciated if you could test the new features like named instances, configurable background and paper color and so on. (Of course, testing is always welcome.) The largest change is probably the addition of persistent per-file settings. This stores the settings of the 1000 last used documents in an SQLite database. (Is 1000 enough? Too much?) This is usually located at "~/.local/share/data/qpdfview/qpdfview/database". (Use of an SQL database can be disabled using the "without_sql" build-time option, but of course, this disables persistent per-file settings as well.) In this context, something that desperately needs testing is the program loading tabs and bookmarks from the old XML files upon creation of the database. (Since trunk revision 765.) Of course, any other comments and testing for this release is also greatly appreciated. Thanks! As a side remark: This version will probably be shipped with Ubuntu 13.04 via Debian's unstable repository. Hence it will probably see quite a large user base (compared to other versions of this program ;-)), so that a lot of testing in relation to the large changes seems sensible.
