I am not sure I understand. Which configuration do you mean? The SQLite database used by qpdfview to store tabs and per-file settings? The main configuration file? Both should theoretically be upgradeable from the first version ever released. Can you be more specific about what kind of failure you are seeing? Best regards, Adam.
