Agreed; we won't release the c++ side until this is fixed.
Any idea of an ETA for the fix - I'm quite keen to start running our performance tests again...
Andrew can give the most accurate ETA. I'm happy to apply Kevin's patch to M2 in the meantime - I don't think it will result in much conflict with the removal of apr based threads/mutexes etc., some of the patched classes may be removed at a later stage is all.
