Based on a discussion on the private list, it seems best to have those
committers that want to be on the PMC for Qpid post graduation nominate
themselves and provide a short brief of why. Marnie provided a great
example which I have reposted on the this list.
"I'd like to join the PMC and here's my spiel (will re-post as necessary).
I've been involved with Qpid since July 2006, initially focusing on
development and integration as well as gathering requirements from end
users. I contributed a significant amount of user documentation to the
wiki (website) and example code. I have supported the onboarding of
several end user projects and taken an active role in the planning and
delivery of a Qpid release (learning some Apache ways in the process).
I'll be returning to contribute to Qpid this month after a short absence
(maternity leave).

If you would like to nominate yourself please do the same as a reply to
this thread. I will leave the thread open through the end of the week
and then update the graduation documents at that point. I will nominate
