Aidan,

I was on the code-awards list for the last few days and didn't see any
traffic of this nature.
if I am not mistaken, it is up to the respective communities to agree on
projects, mentors and the students they want to award them.
However I stand to be corrected.
The code-awards seems to be for general discussion and cordination (so far
thats the impression I get from being on it).
