Following up on the addition of the SASL documentation from yesterdays chat the eagle eyed amongst you will also have noted the Documentation page: http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/qpid/Documentation Which has some nice place holders for us to describe how interop works with Rabbit and OpenAMQ.
I was quite horrified to find our documentation quite so unstructured. Thanks to Carl for getting stuck in there and improving the Getting Started pages. I've made some attempts to pull our documentation up from the hidden bowels of our site so that hopefully new users with questions can find some answers. Currently the 'Implementation Documentation' links were lifted from the Developer Documenation pages but to be quite honest they have very little do to with documentation. The java for instance starts off with links on getting started. Documentation sure but I'd quite like to see more functional documentation linked here and User Guide documentation as part of a User guide. I'm sure we can get there, if everyone just takes a moment to update a page when a user asks a question then we won't loose the knowledge to the depths of our mailing list. As always comments welcome. Martin -- Martin Ritchie
