Yeah, I didn't think it was doing that stuff. I guess we can frob it
manually for this release and then maybe look into using ivy for dep
management in the future. I had a brief look into it and it seems like
we can use it to generate a meaningful POM and keep it from doing
nasty updating things which made maven unsuitable for many people.
