Hello,
I have downloaded the M2 releases of the qpid server and management
server. I follow the instructions to start both server and management
console and both start ok, however, when I try and connect the MC to the
server the MC hangs for some time then returns an error stating that the
server is not running. This is on windows, netstat shows the server
listening. I've tried this on XP and Vista and get the same result in
each case.
Credentials I supply are:
host - I've tried the IP address, 0.0.0.0, 127.0.0.1 (running both on
same box)
port 5672
username and password guest, guest
the domain is fixed in the gui to org.apache.amqp
Any suggestions to resolve this?
Also
I tried to do the same on linux (Kubuntu) but get an error saying that
startup.jar is missing - sure enough, it is missing from the M2 linux build.
