This is the same old Ruby gen issue that devs keep reporting about.
You need to upgrade your Ruby to 1.8.6.114. I am sure your current Ruby
version is 1.8.6.111. Do not get apt-get to install Ruby. Download and
install Ruby from the URL given below.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/intrepid/ruby1.8-dev
