I start qpopper V4.0.3 out of inetd for receiving mails on PCs: > pop3 stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/popper -s
Sometimes (ech month one to two times) I get an error cannot connect to POP3 on PCs. For analysing this situation I logged in as root on ma mail server an tried "telnet localhost pop3" an it is true that I couldn't connect. After restarting "inetd" (rcinet restart) everything work again fine for many days... What can I do and what could be the problem ? Thanks Harald
