Hello, I am using qpopper 4.0.5 with hash2 (/var/spool/mail/u/s/username ) for mailboxes.
Previous to changing to hash2 mailboxes, I used finger to show my mailbox status (whether I had new mail or not). I looked at cfingerd, but it appears to only support /var/spool/mail/username or qmail format. Any suggestions on how to show a users mail status (new/lastread)? It need not be finger...but any script that will accept a username as an input and output the status of their mailbox. Thanks!
