i know this isn't an answer, but WHY would you want to do that?
it's kind of like asking, does anyone know how to get the mysql server to serve ms-sql databases instead?
I want to use webmail and a local mail client parallel. As soon as the webmail filters into folders, POP3 cannot fetch the messages anymore. However, IMAP is "bad" for me because I woul like to have all messages fetched from the server and then have them deleted immediately from there, which seems to be impossible with current IMAP clients without a lot of hassle... :-(
