Qpopper and IMAP

I want to add an IMAP server but I don't want to disrupt Qpopper.

Can I set up Dovecot IMAP/POP3 without using its POP3?
Or would I have to use a different IMAP server? Any recommendations?

Running FreeBSD and Webmin.
