According to the feature list at http://develooper.com/code/qpsmtpd/

* Can be configured to know about local addresses and bounce invalid
  addresses at the smtp level.

This is exactly what I need, since I get charged per megabyte of
incoming traffic and currently SMTP comprises approximately 50% of
my incoming bandwidth, with a spam-to-noise ratio of nearly 100:1.
The vast majority of this is to invalid addresses at my domain which my
server then wastes CPU and bandwidth trying to bounce and ultimately
double-bounces to me as the postmaster, filling my mailbox every day.
Unfortunately I can't find any qpsmtpd plugin which actually does what
you promise. Where can I find this, or has it not yet been written?

Any assistance welcome,
                        Andrew
