in further investigating what exactly is coming into lists.mysql.com, i'm noticing a rather steady stream of mail attempts from random addresses to other (single) random recipients where the DATA is followed immediately by QUIT. (so nothing ends up getting queued, and a '451 Incomplete Data' is returned.)
anybody notice anything similar to this? any clues what it is? i'm wondering if it isn't supposed to be some sort of (d)dos attack. (that appears to be pretty ineffective, because it isn't coming in fast enough to cause problems.) jim
