Yeah, but I was wrong because of the way SA loads rules the pperl version will be slower (by quite a bit).
Well, that shows me to repeat something without testing it myself. ;~)
As it turns out, I was way too lazy to get SA running under pperl; it was just easier to use spamd/spamc...
