That sounds great!

One question left:
If a mail is coming in to qpstmpd and i use qpsmtpd as "proxy" as you discribed: Is qpsmtpd accapting the mail and will after accapting send the mail to the real smtpserver or is qpsmtpd create a parallel connection to the real smtpserver?
So what happens when the real smtpserver will not accapt the mail?

Frank

Easy,

just use the queue/smtp-forward plugin. Any mail that is not rejected will be forwarded to the real smtpserver.

Hello,

i am new to qpsmtpd and have some questions.

I wanted to write a script that acts as smtpproxy in front of the real
smtpserver. the proxy could make some checks on mailfrom, rcptto, data,ip to check if the mail is spam or not. if not the mail could pass and if it is spam the mail will be denied and not marked as spam. so the spammail will not
going into any mailaccount.

Is it possible to do something like this with qpsmtpd? or with some
modifications?

Sounds that interessint to you?

Thanks for feedback.
