I wrote an autowhitelist_relayrcpt plugin similar to what you are suggesting back when I was using greylisting in anger, available here: http://www.openfusion.com.au/labs/qpsmtpd/ I'm still way back on qpsmtpd 0.28 though, so it may well need some tweaking to use it on current.
