Yep, first they screw CW, then they come up with this crap so there will be wall to wall PACTOR robots all over the CW bands, to push their "Winlink 2000" garbage.
When are the sheep going to wake up and realize the ARRL is NOT our friend?
Probably never....
This raises an interesting question....if the professional employees of a membership organization are not sensitive to the needs of the membership and
apparently cater to special interests....when the membership dwindles, and so do the dues...how do the pros get paid?
It's all academic to me....I think hoping for the creation and support of an organization that truly support amateur radio is much like hoping that there
might be a mailing list that supports all aspects of QRP.
And...we know how that tune is played.
I still think it's time to build BPL appliances....we can communicate over the power lines....and maybe start the APLRL (American Power Line Relay League).
