Just read some of this thread on QRP-L. GAG! PUKE! The "Silent Majority"
indeed. How about the "Mindless Sheep?"
Then the old "The ARRL is all we have." And why is that? Because it has
built a power base, not on the support of "Joe Ham" but on the support
of politicians, and corporations. So whose interests is it going to
represent?
