Since you are not a recognized QRP ICON:
1. No one will even say thanks. 2. You will be criticized for attempting to compete with QRZ and eHam. 3. The "QRP Sheep" will not use your service.
Hmmmm, you may be right....I'm used to number 1....and number 2 wouldn't surprize me...that's why I zinged them in the announcement.
Number 3...that's almost a given.
Now you need a rule like QTH.NET has, that even a MENTION of eBay is grounds for removal. (I know one member who was put "on moderation" for just mentioning in passing that he bought a DX-40 on eBay.....).
On the Drakelist I discourage the mention of Ebay...simply because I don't think I want to be a shill for some of the folks plying those waters..to say nothing of how that whole arena has made used gear out of the question for a lot of folks.
I don't put people on moderation tho...I just email them and ask if they think that they should pay for advertising on the list....or ask how much of their profit they turn over as payback.
Over the years nne of the sellers has offered to contribute...and one idiot had a long-drawn out email telling me that his selling of Drake gear at slightly lower than Ebay prices was a help to Hams...and I had a lot of nerve being critical of his service(He's one of theose one the list that asks so many technical questions that other list members have emailed about him "being in the biz".)

Let's see, how long will it be before AmQRP comes out with a Classified section in QHB? By the time you recieved a copy, it would be really vintage equipment...
Well, if by some strange quired of fate folks start using mine...I suspect that they will get something up....kinda like how the QRP-L list went back to unmoderated as soon as I started the foxhunt list (g).
