But I had commented on the Ham Bands being turned over to a bunch of codeless, clueless idiots to make into an Internet. Someone challenged me, saying that it took a lot of smarts to set up a Winlink station. So, the 60 year old retired fart dusted off an old DSP232 TNC, dowloaded "AirMail" and in about 20 minutes I had connected to one of those Pactor Robots ( a few still do old PACTOR I), and sent myself an email.
