"Mike Czuhajewski" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterence to the qrplist gang
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just curious if anyone else took note of this comment. It was a couple days
ago on QRP-L, part of a post about Homebrewer #4:

"....a wonderful publication that is virtually 95% chock full of stuff that
we are interested in as opposed to the other amateur "biggie" publication."

Interestingly, no one has commented on this yet. I composed one, not yet
sent, which points out that that is just his position and that he does not
represent the entire QRP community, ie, not everyone is interested in the
technical things and more interested in the operating side. In fact, over
the years I have had numerous people tell me that they did **NOT** want
anything to do with NorCal and NJQRP Homebrewer because they were all
technical and they had no interest in technical things. It wasn't a NorCal
vs ARCI thing, it was just that those journals didn't have what they were
interested in.

I later thought about sending another post, not yet composed, wondering
aloud if this signals a return to the bad old days of several years back
when there was virtually open warfare on QRP-L between the NorCal and QRP
ARCI camps. I really don't think anyone wants to see that start up
again--this time AMQRP vs ARCI--but with the general incivility on QRP-L as
well as the country in general I wouldn't be surprised to see it.
