Well, food and liquor always seem to be a big draw at fund raisers for volunteer fire departments, benefits for people who've had some disaster befall them and the like. Perhaps it could work for web sites and mailing lists too. You just have to really apply yourself to the task Thom. You're a bright guy, I'm sure a solution will present itself!
I guess I was too obtuse....I've never asked for any money to fund these lists...
