This is my response to Lowman. We'll see how fair he is. (Note that W0EB is
"buddies" with Lloyd. In fact it was he who kicked me out of the FPs for
referring to Lloyd's history as a sexual predator).

I just went a checked the "Rules" Here is the applicable section.
"While this list may be used to buy, sell, trade or seek QRP equipment

moderation without notice. To be clear, this pertains especially to
eBay. Anyone using the list to promote his own auction will be removed
from the list without warning. "
Note there is nothing about "disguised references" to Ebay, or even the
even mentioning eBay as long as you are not "conducting, discussing,
facilitating or referring to an AUCTION."
The point of my post, that you moderated me for, was that W0EB WAS
conducting an AUCTION. He asked for the highest bidder in 24 hours. If
that is not an auction, what is? So I must assume, if you apply your
rules fairly to all, that he was "removed from the list without
warning." (Your words).
Do you apply you rules fairly? My violation was not in "disguised
reference to ebay," but rather could be classified as referring to
W0EB's auction. Since my reference was intended not to facilitate, but
rather as a note of the hypocrisy of his auction, I still don't think I
should be moderated. However, by your own rules, you are guilty of
hypocrisy if you moderated me, and did not REMOVE W0EB.
Interesting....it appears that your real crime was not making a oblique
reference to EBAY...but rather discussing an auction that was being conducted
by W0EB. One can only assume that neigther Mr. Lowman or W0EB know the emaning
of auction....or that W0EB is one of the QRP-L subscribers that is not covered
by the rules.
