I am attempting to repair a hosting box currently running Plesk and
DrWeb. Qsheff looks like it would be an ideal replacement for DrWeb
while I'm in the process of migrating users from the Plesk box to our
ISPConfig box.
I installed qsheff about an hour ago, and immediately got error messages
in the maillog. The sorts of errors I was seeing were:
qsheff[19407]: clam.c:43: No such file or directory
qsheff[19407]: toolkit.c:100: No such file or directory
qsheff[19407]: main.c:527: Permission denied
I'm looking through the source code now to figure out what files were
being looked for.
My primary question is this: once I've got qmail-qsheff built and in
place in /var/qmail/bin, I'd really like to be able to test it before I
replace qmail-queue with the link. The server I'm working on is a live
machine with a pretty constant stream of traffic, so I'd like to
minimize my impact on customer's email. Can anyone suggest a method that
I might use to pass messages to qmail-qsheff so that I can observe it's
behavior before I switch it live?
I'm running on a RedHat Enterprise box (ES release 3 (Taroon Update 5))
with clamav 0.91.1.
