Lots of people have[1]. There’s a suggestion that it’s a Qt bug fixed in recent
versions of Qt 5.

I’ve seen it in 2.8 (and older versions) on OS X. I’ve not noticed it in 3.0.0,
built with Qt 5.2.0.

There is a bug open for the same behaviour in 3.0[2] from someone who didn’t
see it in 2.8 - but I don’t know what version of Qt that was built with, so
don’t know if it’s a sign that one of the underlying issues is still there.

I’d definitely give 3.0 a try, though. I’m using it on OS X and it’s more
stable than 2.8.* was (I’ve noticed a very occasional issue with hitting delete
when text is selected, but that’s about it).

Cheers,
  Steve
