You can simply open the .pro file in the project directory to open
the project.
If this doesn't work, try drag and drop it in qtcreator.

When I start Qt Creator 1.2.0 I am possible to start "Qt Beispiele ö
ffnen" Open Qt Samples or so.
But when clicking on "Editiern" Edit I can only start with "New
Projects", but I want to test the sources in the folder "xxx" and
compile it.
